Electronica, noise, post-rock label based in Brighton, UK. FatCat was originally a record shop in the early '90s; when the shop was forced to close down in autumn 1997, owners [a449571] and [a141590] were offered space and support by [a1373] / [l311] to start up the label. Well-known for what the label defined as several [i]series[/i] of releases. These included, amongst others, the "7" Series", "10" Series", "12" Series", "Splinter Series", "Remix Series", "E-RMX Series".
