German producer Hendrik Weber’s stunning, resonant work as Pantha du Prince melds streamlined techno rhythms with a modern-classical sensibility. In reworking his 2016 effort, The Triad (and having others remix it), he explores the more ethereal side of his sound. On “The Winter Hymn,” he excises the beats entirely to focus on the chime-like effects coursing throughout the song. Meanwhile, Efdemin’s upbeat remix of “Islands in the Sky” is so weightless that you can practically envision the titular destination.
