Historic recording studio of [l107525], located in Alte Jakobstraße 32 between 1938 and 1945. Established after the conversion of the former Zentraltheater (or Central-Theater), it offered state-of-the-art acoustic and technical conditions. Deutsche Grammophon referred to it as "Raum IX". The studio consisted of a large recording hall and two control rooms, also equipped with Neumann AM31 lathes for direct shellac cutting. Can be identified in the matrix by a [b]9[/b] after two letters, e.g. GS 9, BD 9, GR 9, etc. Bombed out in 1945. The remnants were demolished in 1952.
