Vital Tech Tones, an illustrious fusion trio from the United States, carved a unique niche within the electronic and dance music realms with their innovative blend of sounds. Comprising of drummer Steve Smith of Vital Information, guitarist Scott Henderson from Tribal Tech, and bassist Victor Wooten of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, the group brought together an extraordinary amalgamation of jazz, funk, and electronic beats. Their debut, self-titled album, released in 1998 by Tone Center, was a groundbreaking effort that showcased their technical prowess and creative synergy. They continued to push musical boundaries with their follow-up album, "VTT2," in 2000, further cementing their legacy as pioneers in fusion music. Though Vital Tech Tones never performed live, their studio recordings remain a testament to their innovative approach to music-making and their significant contributions to the electronic music genre.
