Pauline Anna Strom is an American electronic music composer and synthesist who pioneered ambient and experimental synthesizer work under the moniker Trans-Millenia Consort. Active throughout the 1980s, Strom crafted a distinctive sonic palette characterized by layered synthesizer textures and meditative soundscapes that predated many contemporary ambient movements.
Between 1982 and 1988, Strom released seven recordings across multiple formats, including three LPs and four cassette tapes.
