Motion Control is the project of Oddgeir Hvidsten, blending ambient textures with rhythmic electronic production. Emerging from the ambient trio Neural Network—which released two albums on Origo Sound—Hvidsten shifted toward more dance-oriented material, collaborating with Lars Kristian Sande to develop the Motion Control sound. The project secured a deal with UK label Universal Code, marking a transition from atmospheric soundscapes to groove-driven electronic music.
