British synthesizer programmer and electronic musician, Paul Dillon is best known as a co-founder of pioneering synthpop act Cassandra Complex, which he helped establish in 1980. His work on synthesizer programming became integral to the group's early sound during their formative years before his departure in 1985.
Beyond his foundational work with Cassandra Complex, Dillon contributed to W.M.T.I.D.'s debut album, further establishing his presence in the UK electronic music landscape. He returned to Cassandra Complex in 2024 to participate in the band's 40th anniversary celebrations, reconnecting with the project that defined his career in synthesizer-driven electronic music.
