About

# Joeski

Joeski has been a cornerstone of underground house and rave culture since launching his DJ career in 1989. Beginning with intimate house parties in Queens, he quickly established himself across New York's most iconic venues—including legendary spots like the Limelight, NASA, and Save the Robots—before becoming a fixture on the U.S. rave circuit. His residency at the Roxy in Los Angeles (mid-1990s) and regular appearances at Montreal's Playground cemented his reputation as a versatile selector capable of connecting diverse dance floors across North America.

As a producer and label curator, Joeski has channeled his deep knowledge of house music into independent releases and imprint development. He founded Maya Records in 2001, establishing a platform for his own productions and like-minded artists. As co-founder of Mi Casa Records (established 2002 with the 6400 Crew) and creator of the Aztec Tribalism sublabel (2010), Joeski continues to support the underground house and electronic music community through artist development and forward-thinking releases.
