Darrin Huss is the founding and primary creative force behind Psyche, a Canadian dark synth-pop project that has evolved across multiple decades and lineup iterations. Based in Germany, Huss has stewarded the project through various collaborative configurations, working with musicians including his brother Stephen Huss, David Kristian, Per-Anders Kurenbach, and Remi Szyszka to craft the project's signature atmospheric synthpop sound.
As the sole constant member, Huss has shaped Psyche's sonic identity through numerous album releases, establishing the project as a notable fixture in the dark electronic and synth-pop landscape. The project's layered, moody aesthetic and synth-driven compositions have contributed to the broader evolution of Canadian electronic music on the international stage.
