Daisy Chainsaw were an English alternative rock band that emerged from London's vibrant late-80s music scene. Founded in 1989 by vocalist KatieJane Garside and guitarist Crispin Gray, the group carved out a distinctive niche with their provocative sound and experimental approach to rock music. Their 1992 debut album *Eleventeen* showcased Garside's distinctive vocal presence and the band's willingness to push sonic boundaries beyond conventional rock structures.

The band continued evolving through lineup changes, with vocalist Belinda Leith joining for their final studio effort, *For They Know Not What They Do* (1994), before the group disbanded in 1995. Though their tenure was brief, Daisy Chainsaw's fearless approach to songwriting and performance left an impression on the UK alternative music landscape of the early 1990s.
