Going is an Italian disco group that emerged from Rome's vibrant club scene in the late 1970s. Founded by DJ and Italo-Disco pioneer Paul Micioni alongside dancers Francesco Bonanno and Ottavio Siniscalchi, the group quickly made an impact with their debut hit "Baby I Love You" (1978), produced by Giancarlo Meo and arranged by Hi-NRG visionary Claudio Simonetti. The track exemplified the emerging Italo-Disco sound that would define the era.
Throughout their run, Going released three albums—*Easy Going* (1978), *Fear* (1979), and *Casanova* (1980)—establishing themselves as key players in Rome's electronic dance music movement. The group's lineup evolved when Micioni departed to collaborate with his brother Peter, with singer-dancer Russell Russell joining to complete the classic trio. Going's fusion of disco rhythms with the synthesizer-driven production techniques of early Italo-Disco helped shape the sound of 1980s dance music.
