Jamaican bassist Rosko Gee is a seasoned musician whose work bridges progressive rock and experimental electronic music. He gained recognition through his contributions to Traffic's *When the Eagle Flies* (1974) and later collaborated with the supergroup Go, which brought together luminaries Steve Winwood, Stomu Yamashta, Michael Shrieve, Klaus Schulze, and Al Di Meola—a meeting of progressive and electronic sensibilities.
Gee's most significant work came during his tenure with German experimental pioneers Can, where he appeared on *Saw Delight*, *Out of Reach*, and the self-titled *Can* album. Touring with the band in 1977, he contributed bass and vocals, helping shape Can's evolving sound during a pivotal period of their career. His collaborative approach and versatility across rock, funk, and electronic idioms made him a key player in expanding the boundaries of 1970s experimental music.
